Helloo there! Berlin is one of my biggest surprises of 2025! 

In fact, I visited Berlin for the second time with a friend in May! To be honest, going back there wasn’t really in my plans because my trip in 2021 didn't leave much of an impression on me (I mean, it was nice, but nothing really special) ... However, last year, I entered a raffle at a professional event and won a few nights at the Hoxton Berlin Hotel. And against all my expectations, I absolutely loved this second trip! It felt like rediscovering the city.  It’s true that during my first visit there, I was more focused on the historical aspects. This time, I got to experience Berlin’s lively side, with the thrift stores, the zoo, cafés and restaurants (we even discovered an amazing Asian restaurant called "Mai Kudamm")…

I also visited “Urban Nation,” which is a fantastic free art museum, took a boat ride, just like in 2021, and, of course, had some Döner kebabs :)​ We also stayed in a nicer neighborhood, which made our trip even more pleasant. The weather was so nice, like summer days, and I realized just how many green spaces there are in this city! 

To conclude, I went to Berlin without any real expectations, and I was pleasantly surprised. I'm now genuinely grateful to have won that raffle. And, in the future, if I ever have the chance to spend a few days in Berlin again during the summer, I won't say no! :)​ Assitan <3
