I spent my summer of 2021 in France and after my trip to the French Riviera in July, I decided to go a few days in Lyon. It wasn't planned but I have two good friends there, so the goal was to see them and discover the city as well. Lyon is the 3rd largest city in France with many attractive places! I really enjoyed the Parc de la tête d'Or, a giant park with a little zoo inside. I also took the funicular to go to Fourvière, the highest point of view of the city. I was beautiful to see the whole city by night with all the lights on. you can also take a walk in the well-known "Confluence" district, along the river or go for a boat ride through the city :)

In the future, I would love to visit more french cities. I think it can be as interesting as going abroad! Little fact: I stayed in an Airbnb for the first time in Lyon! Usually, when I travel alone, I prefer to choose a hotel because I feel more comfortable. If I have a problem or a request, I just have to tell the reception and they handle it haha. I don't remember why I chose an airbnb that time (maybe it was less expensive) but it was a great experience! The apartment was well located and most importantly: really clean.
