Hello, Hellooo!!! I had the opportunity to stay in Malta for 10 days during the summer 2022. I went there for an English course, so basically, I wasn't truly on vacation! I remember how happy I was when I heard that the training would be in Malta because I wanted to visit the island for a long time. BUT, the trip didn't turn out as planned: I got SICK but like really SiiiiiCK (throat infection) and it was just horrible... I was very disappointed because I was able to do only 2 days of my English course. The training center was great with really nice people coming from all over the world, so I wish I had spent more time there :(
Fortunately, I got well a few days later and I could visit the capital: Valletta, and some other places with my team. We made a day trip by boat to the amazing Blue Lagoon and the small island Gozo. Regarding the landscapes, I was expecting something more aesthetic but some places are really charming as well! I noticed a lot of construction on the island, so I think that if I go back there in 10 years, I could be nicely surprised :)
To be honest, Malta was a good experience but 10 days was a little bit too long for me! In general, when I travel, I like to be active like visiting places all day long, going to museums, seeing exhibitions...
In Malta, I had the feeling that the mood was a bit too slow haha! Since it's a small island I think 3 or 5 days would have been ok. But if you want to relax on the beach and go clubbing this is a good place for you :) Assitan <3
