Hi there, and welcome to this new Street Art Tour in New York Cityyy!  

First of all, I would like to say that I LOOOVE this album! During my trip to the USA in winter 2023,

I found some AMAZING artworks in Brooklyn, more specifically in the Bushwick neighborhood. In fact, I have discovered many works that highlight the Black and Hispanic cultures! Beyond their beauty, some of them also raise awareness of major social issues (police violence, racism...), while others convey messages of peace and hope...

I did this tour with a guide and some other tourists (one of the first activities I booked for NYC, of course lol). I would say it was ok because I got some additional information, but I really think you can do it on your own! 

The more I travel, the more I realize that art is everywhere, but very subjective. For example, I may find something beautiful and want to stop and admire it, but that doesn't necessarily mean you would too (and that's okay)! But that's why, I think, it's important to go at your own pace. I remember that at the end of the tour, I almost left the group because they were going too fast or skipping artworks that interested me haha.

I also still remember how cold it was outside lol, despite the bright sunshine, but at the moment I was just too excited and grateful to see these artworks in person!

And a fun fact: I have to confess I arrived late at the meeting point because.. I got LOST in the New York City subway OMG! I was coming from Central Park, and even today, I still don't understand how that could have happened, because I'm usually pretty good at navigating public transportation lol..
