Welcome to NEW YORK CITYYYYY! 
Where to start? I really loved the city's atmosphere during the winter! I was worried that the streets and subways would be very dirty, but I honestly didn't see anything traumatic (except a few rats at my bus stop, but I was mentally prepared for this lol). I didn't sleep in New York because hotels are really expensive at this time of year. So I used to take the Megabus early in the morning from Philadelphia for 3 hours and come back in the evening! I loved these trips, which allowed me to see the landscape, the sunrise, and sleep haha!

The first thing I did when I arrived in New York was go to the iconic Brooklyn Bridge! But there are so many things to see in New York, like the Grand Central Terminal Hall, the City Hall, Times Square (by day and by night!), and the Rockefeller Center with its huge Christmas Tree in winter! There are also famous districts like Soho, Chinatown, Little Italy, Little Paris, Seaport, and of course, you must have a coffee and take a walk in Central Park! 

From a historical and cultural point of view, I recommend visiting the African Burial Ground National Monument and its small but impactful museum. Of course, you'll have to take the ferry to get closer to the Statue of Liberty and visit the 9/11 Memorial (make sure to buy your tickets in advance and to come on time). 

I also did a Street Art tour in Bushwick, a Brooklyn neighborhood  (the album will arrive soon) and most importantly, I went to see The Lion King Musical on Broadway!!! (Tickets are quite expensive, but I assure you it's worth it because the show is amazing).​

To finish, I would also suggest you to visit the Summit One Vanderbilt, at sunset for a great city view of all New York's iconic buildings: Top of the Rock, Empire State Building, One World Trade Center..
