So welcome to Philadephia, the USA's most historic city! I just love this town, which is, I think, a great place to live. You can immerse yourself in History by visiting the Old City and its museums all around, the Liberty Bell, the Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were signed in 1776, and the Free Library of Philadelphia which I particularly like for its books, music, and exhibitions about Black history.
If you come in winter, do not hesitate to walk by the City Hall and visit the Christmas village market, with its many handicraft stands, and the rink area. At this location, there are also thematically decorated caravans such as Barbie, Mario, Eagles... where you can enter and take photos.
Regarding the food: please go to Sabrina's Café to eat the BEST CHICKEN&WAFFLES! I am still dreaming about it. You must taste the Philly CHEESESTEAK which is an incredible sandwich with cheese and steak obviously lol.
Oh, I also saw my first basketball game at the Philadephia Wells Fargo Center and it was a fire!!! (Philadelphia 76ers vs Chicago Bulls, but Philly lost by only 4 points :( But the last seconds were so intense lol -
To finish, this trip was an opportunity to meet my uncle Alou who lives there, and I would like to thank him very much for his welcome :) - Assitan <3
